[Raina]

Raina was washing dishes. The children, Ruby, Roxy, and Rosy, were upstairs getting ready for bed, and Roburt was helping clear the table. They'd just finished dinner (yummy pot roast with potatoes and carrots), and now things were settling down for the night.

Over the years, Raina had gotten less skittish about everything. The time spent with Roburt had showed her that not all men were as terrible as the ones her mother spent time with. And, through the decades spent with her husband, she'd found that there were other nice men like him. These included his brother, the firecrotch named Edwurd, Edwurd's husband Arden, and a few other people.

She whistled as she washed the plates, her mind remembering how Roburt had come over everyday after work to gain her trust. He'd been the one to break her out of her shell, and she'd never be able to thank him enough for that.

[Roburt]

Roburt grabbed the last of the few things of silverware and the rest of the plates off of the dining room table and brought them to the kitchen where his wife was doing the dishes. He smiled as he set the dishes in the sink and kissed her on the cheek. "Want some help?"

He didn't wait for an answer, instead he just started working on the dishes he had set in the sink. He liked washing dishes with Raina, so he did it almost every night. It was one of the fun little things they did together.

[Raina]

"Hi honey," Raina said with a smile when he kissed her cheek. She loved when Roburt helped her with dishes, it made her happy.

"So, how was your day?" They got to talk a lot more in the evenings then they did during the day, especially since Roburt was at work until about 5 and then they had to take care of three twelve year old girls. So it was usually during washing the dishes they actually got to have a real conversation and learn about each other's days.

[Roburt]

"My day was pretty busy," Roburt replied. "Since spring is coming soon a lot of clio are ordering flowers for their gardens." He was happy though, busisness was never really busy in the winter, and he actually looked forward to the busy days of spring and summer. "Keiran worked today as well," he said. "The day is always better when I get to see him."

Roburt loved all of his children so much, but he didn't get to see Lily, Keiran, and Sophia as often because they were adults now, with their own lives. "How was your day my dear?"
