"Whatever, you guys can eat what you want," Elliot replied with a shrug. He looked at the menu to see if there was anything healthier. There were bagels...Maybe he'd get a bagel. But then again, he wasn't even really that hungry after the doughnut. And bagels were expensive. But he had plenty of money. Oh, should he, shouldn't he?

"Of course Lane!" Lina replied. "I just don't want to eat too much, I already had my own." She decided that she'd just share Lane's cheese cake, and skip on another hot chocolate, she didn't want it to be spilt again. xD

"Yay!" Lane said happily. And then it was his turn in line. "I'd like one piece of raspberry cheesecake!" he announced with a smile to the cashier. "And one glass of chocolate milk!"

After Lane ordered, the cashier asked Elliot if he wanted anything. "Um, uh, I guess I'll have a bagel..." he said hesitantly. They got him a wheat bagel and he paid for it, feeling good about his decision.

Lina didn't want to order anything so she smiled politely at the cashier and followed her friends back to their table. She crossed her legs and rested her chin in the palm of her hand with her elbow on the table. "How's your bagel Elliot?" She asked, "And how's your cheese cake Lane?"

"That's good," Lina replied to Elliot. She smiled at Lane when he slid her his piece of cheese cake. She took a small bite and said, "It is really good." The piece of cheese cake she had herself actually, was the same Lane had, but she already promised she'd share it with him, so why not?

"I bet my cheesecake is better," Lane said with a smile at Elliot. "I bet me and Emma would let you have a bite if you said pleaaase," he said.

Elliot gave him a sarcastic smile, not that Lane would be able to tell it was sarcastic. "That's okay," he replied dryly. "I'm good." Ugh, why did Lane have to be heeeerrre? D: He had the perfect chance to be alone with Lina and Lane had messed it all up.
